A message from Campus Ministry

Sacred Heart Parish, located several blocks east of Moraine Valley Community College, serves the spiritual needs of the students, staff, and faculty. Sacred Heart encourages college students to join our parish family for Mass and activities.

Sacred Heart Parish offers many ways to serve the southwest suburbs. Please check our parish website and weekly bulletin for a full list of groups and events. Volunteering is a good way to put your faith into action, make new friends, and build your resume. Consider offering your time and talents to serve in liturgical ministries, for example, as a lector, Eucharistic minister or a choir member. Learn more about your faith tradition, for example, by attending weekly Bible study or participating in the OCIA program (sacrament preparation for adults). Show compassion to those less fortunate, for example, by donating to our monthly food drive and Christmas Giving Project or knitting or crocheting prayer shawls for those in need.
