A message from ERAU Daytona Beach Catholic Campus Ministry

The Catholic Student Union (CSU) is formed upon three basic foundations; Spirituality, Service, and Social Activities.

Spiritual:

Mass -   Every Sunday at 7:00 PM in the Center for Faith and Spirituality (CFS).    We normally have close to 150 students at

mass on Sunday and hope you will join us.

Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM - we have daily mass on campus on Wednesday evenings

ABC’s -   Adoration, Benediction and Confession – this is offered once a month

Faith Formation -  we have different forms of faith formation from OCIA to Deep Dives into faith topics to Confirmation prep to

Bible studies.  There are opportunities to grow in your faith on a weekly basis.

Retreats -  once a semester we have an overnight retreat.

Prayer room  - the Catholic prayer room in the CFS is available almost 24 hours a day. There is a tabernacle in the room, so you

can pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament any time you like.

SOCIAL

After mass -   we have something social after each mass, even if it is just snacks.

POP-MOM -   once a month people from one of the local parishes prepare and serve a homemade meal after mass.

Bigger events -  once a month, we have a bigger event like bowling, ice skating, a trip to Jeremiahs, etc.

Smaller events -  game nights, S’more’s night, etc. look for one of these almost every week.

Intramural sports -  we have an intramural flag football and soccer team.

Women's Group - meets 2-4 times a month to do social, service and spiritual activities

SERVICE

On-going -  food collection, pop tab collection, etc.

Monthly  -  a bigger service event like helping with Habitat for Humanity, Beach Clean up, serving the homeless, making cards

for nursing homes, etc.

If you have any questions or if I can help you in any way, please reach out.
