University of Louisville Catholic Campus Ministry

University of Louisville

A message from University of Louisville Catholic Campus Ministry

Our purpose is to share the love of Jesus Christ with every person on campus and to support the community of Catholic students, faculty, and staff at the University of Louisville.

The UofL Catholic Campus Ministry is located in the Interfaith Center on University of Louisville's campus - a place to encounter the love of Christ, go to Mass on Sunday, hang out, have a free dinner, meet new friends, and learn more about our faith and the Bible.

Founded as a Newman club, we carry on the tradition of student-centered ministry begun by Cardinal Newman in 1851. We also treasure our uniquely Roman Catholic spiritual heritage of Eucharistic worshipfaith seeking understandingcommunitymission, and service.

The community gathers for Mass each Sunday at 11am at Holy Name Church followed by a community brunch, and at 12:20pm Monday through Friday for daily Mass in the Interfaith Center. Throughout the week there are student-led small groups and bible studies, social activities, and times for prayer and learning more about living as disciples of Jesus Christ and engaging the pressing issues of today in light of our faith.
