A message from ECU Newman
The Newman Center at East Carolina University is a community of disciples seeking to grow in faith together as we serve our community and celebrate the sacraments. As the Catholic Campus Ministry at ECU, it is our joy to share Jesus Christ with the world.
Each Wednesday night is “Pirate Night”. It begins with Mass at 5:30 pm and then we enjoy dinner together. Throughout the school year, ECU Newman provides opportunities to attend retreats, celebrate the sacraments, serve the community, and have fun at a variety of social events.
If you’re looking for a deeper connection with like-minded students, consider becoming a part of one of our small groups. These groups of 3-10 members meet weekly to pray, discuss, and grow in fellowship with one another.
It is here that many students build friendships that last a lifetime. It is here that many students form a relationship with Jesus that will last an eternity.
We encourage you to attend one of our Wednesday “Pirate Nights”. Come get to know us and we will grow in faith together. Adoration is included.
