A message from University Parish Newman Center at Kent State University
The University Parish Newman Center is the home of Catholic Campus Ministry and the Catholic Student Association for the Kent State University. We are supported by and under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, but welcome ALL Catholics and those interested in finding or maintaining a faith life while at KSU. We have a great relationship with the Byzantine (Ruthenian) Catholic Eparchy of Parma and have students representing several Eastern Catholic Churches.
We reside immediately adjacent to campus across from the Center for Performing Arts and within short walking distance from all of KSU's dorms.
Our facilities and staff are here for our Students! During the school year, our facilities are open for you from 7am-10pm. We have a student lounge, stocked kitchen, library, study rooms, group work spaces, and outdoor spaces that will help you in your faith, to relax, and find meaningful and lasting friendships. Please do not hesitate to drop by and check everything out!
