Manhattan College is a Catholic college in the Lasallian tradition. Campus Ministry and Social Action seeks to serve students of all religious traditions by providing prayer and worship experiences for students from the Roman Catholic tradition and other faith traditions. We are committed to the social action and advocacy that emanates from our rich campus prayer life.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is an integral symbol of the Catholic, Lasallian community that exists on our campus.

Our chapels are the center of campus life. The Chapel of De LaSalle and His Brothers is the main chapel and is located on the second floor of Squeri Hall. The Chapel of the Holy Infancy is a smaller chapel and is located on the second floor of Memorial Hall. The Chapel of St. Benilde is located at Christian Brothers Center. St. John - Visitation Church is located at 3021 Kingsbridge Avenue and is a welcoming parish for our students.

Confession Times

Students are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Monday-Thursday at 12pm in the Chapel of the Holy Infancy. All students may receive the sacrament beginning at 7:00pm on Sunday in the Chapel of De LaSalle and His Brothers. Special times are also available by appointment through CMSA in Miguel 209.

Adoration Times

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction takes place every First Friday at St. John-Visitation Church following the12:15PM Mass (Sept to June Only) until Benediction takes place at 6:45PM.
