A message from Campus Ministry

Sacred Heart Parish, located several blocks east of Moraine Valley Community College, serves the spiritual needs of the students, staff, and faculty. Sacred Heart Parish encourages college students to join their worship community for Mass and parish activities.

Sacred Heart Parish offers many ways to serve the southwest suburbs. Please check the parish website and weekly bulletin for a full list of groups and events. Volunteering is a good way to put your faith into action, make new friends, and build your resume. Consider offering your time and talents to serve in liturgical ministries, for example, as a lector, Eucharistic minister or a choir member. Learn more about your faith tradition, for example, by attending weekly Bible study or participating in our RCIA program (sacrament preparation for adults). Show compassion to those less fortunate, for example, by donating to our monthly food drive and Christmas Giving Project or knitting/crocheting prayer shawls for those in need.
