A message from NSU Catholic Student Center at Saint David Church (Catholic LIFE)

Established by the Archdiocese of Miami in 2006 to serve our area students, Catholic LIFE (Living In Faith Everyday) is the presence of Your Church on Campus in a welcoming community of students sharing the college experience in mutual support while growing in faith, hope and love as a positive contributing presence at our beloved university and greater community.

Our Catholic Student Center is located at Saint David Church, conveniently located about 1 mile from campus.

Join us to experience the amazing possibilities that are ours when faith becomes more and more an integral part of our daily life while building meaningful lasting friendships that feel more like family! Some programs offered at our Catholic Student Center parish include...

• Mass, Coffee & Donuts with Friends (Hosted by NSU Catholic LIFE): Sundays, 10:00am Mass followed by fellowship in gazebo with free donuts & coffee
• Mass & Meal (hosted by St David young adults)- Sundays, 12pm Mass followed by lunch, topics and fellowship

• Receive support for an NSU Catholic LIFE small group at your campus if there isn't a Catholic Campus Ministry already active on your NSU Campus (in collaboration with your diocese when outside the Archdiocese of Miami)
• Connect with fellow Catholic LIFE members across campuses and other events we may be joining
• And more!

THE ALPHA SERIES: Simply put, Alpha is a series of gatherings with food to explore our deeper questions in a friendly welcoming setting. We meet Sundays after 12N Mass for Connection (food & fellowship), Content (short video on a life/faith question), and Conversation (sharing on day's topic). The Alpha series is offered each fall, normally at our Catholic Student Center, but we can explore doing this on campus too.

While most activities happen in Davie, students attending any of NSU's TEN regional campuses are welcome to become part of the Catholic LIFE family. We sometimes host online events suitable to connecting across locations! Reach out to Campus Minister at mvargas@saintdavid.org for more information.
