The Newman Catholic Community is active on campus and has a wide variety of social, service and worship activities. They hope you will join them!
The Newman Catholic Community is the equivalent of a Catholic parish for the Occidental Community of students, faculty and staff. Challenged by the life of Jesus Christ, we seek to strengthen and enrich one another through worship, faithful inquiry and service in an atmosphere of unconditional love. Students share their talents as readers, Eucharistic ministers, singers or musicians. Volunteering is a good way to put your faith-in-action, make new friends, build your resume and make contacts for your future.
