A message from Campus Ministry

Rooted in the rich Catholic Christian Tradition and ecumenically centered in the reconciling Love of God, the mission of Campus Ministry at St. Ambrose University is to build a welcoming community of FAITH LEARNING JUSTICE by praying, seeking wisdom, and committing our gifts in leadership and service.  Campus Ministry is here to serve our students in their faith lives, and to assist them in the service of others.

Campus Ministry strives to create a welcoming community for all of our students.  All Ambrosians are welcome to take part in just about everything in Campus Ministry, regardless of faith background or journey.  Our students are our focus, and we offer many varied opportunities for them:
-Ministering during liturgies through being Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Music Ministers, Altar Servers, Greeters, Planners of Liturgy, and more
-Taking part in many different kinds of retreats, and leading retreats for schools and parish groups in the diocese
-Learning more about social justice issues, spending time in service to the wider community, country, and world
-Discovering more about their faith through discussion groups, bible studies, and various other avenues
-Coming together as community in daily masses, especially Wednesday night Mass and More, and so much more throughout the year
