Campus Ministry

As Thomas Merton once wrote, "Our real journey in life is interior ... it is a matter of growth, deepening, and of an ever greater surrender to the creative action of love and grace in our hearts."  As a team of ministers, we are committed to this journey ourselves, eager to accompany your journey, and always ready to serve you.  As disciples of Jesus Christ in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, we are called to form a community with all the members of our University family.  We strive to live well with one another, celebrating life together and serving others in keeping with the Gospel call for justice, peace, and the integrity of creation.  The San Damiano Cross is the cross St. Francis kneeled before when he received the commission from the Lord to rebuild the Church.  All Franciscans cherish his cross as a symbol of their mission from God.  Stop by, we're always open!

 

University Ministries is located in the Thomas Merton Center in the heart of campus. We're open to students and staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
