A message from St. Thomas More Oratory

The Newman Center at the St. Thomas More Oratory at UD is an essential place for students to grow in their Catholic faith while at school in a number of ways. First and foremost, by providing Mass and the Sacraments, students are spiritually nourished and in communion with God. By intellectual discussion, Bible studies and classes, students learn more deeply about their own vocation in life, the Word of God, and the teachings of the Catholic Church. Catholic related service opportunities give students the chance to enact their Faith through love of neighbor, such as protecting life from conception to natural death, and helping the poor. Social activities bring students together in fellowship, appreciation for the other, and the joy of Christ. Our chaplain and campus ministers are always available to have conversations with students to encourage, listen to, and help bring them closer to Christ.
