A message from Campus Ministry

There is a Catholic Chaplain that is associated with the college and a VERY active campus ministry program that is waiting to serve you. They have many activities, chances to make new friends and answer your questions.

We in the Newman Community understand that Christ calls us to lives of active service for those in need. We do a huge variety of service projects: www.colgate.edu/studentlife/religiouslife/christiansatcolgate/newmancommunity/service opportunities. Monday Newman Lunches featuring faculty and guest speakers on a variety of topics, from bioethics to Church history to Catholic journalism. Thursday night ecumenical dinners with the Protestant Christian communities on campus. Sunday pizza & wings after 10 pm Mass & monthly dinners after 6:30 Mass.
