A message from Mountaineer Catholic at Saint John University Parish
Mission Statement
In union with the Universal Church’s Mission set forth by Jesus Christ to Evangelize and “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19), the Mountaineer Catholic Newman Club was founded to promote and foster the growth of the Catholic Faith among the students and faculty of West Virginia University’s Morgantown Campus. Imitating the apostles and first Christian communities, Mountaineer Catholic seeks to facilitate encounters with Jesus Christ and the deepening of authentic relationships with peers through formation, fellowship, the Sacraments, service, and prayer (cf. Acts 2:42).
