Welcome to the Newman Center at Western Connecticut State University. Spirituality creates a place in our lives to have that much desired “heart to heart” with the Divine. Through an ongoing conversation with God we can find comfort when things are not going well; appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us; the ability to be compassionate; a greater sense of purposefulness in life. Wherever you may be on your personal spiritual journey, there are always more opportunities to seek greater growth in the spiritual life.   Here at WCSU, Campus Ministry and Newman are places for those who are open and willing to explore the possibilities of spirituality. The Newman Center, located just across the street from Newbury Hall on the mid-town campus, offers a Christ-like hospitality to all members for the Western Community.
