Westminster College
A message from Catholic Campus Ministry
Welcome to the Westminster college Newman Club! As a Catholic-based group, we strive to help individuals strengthen their faith in the Lord and learn how their faith evolves for the better over these years of big changes. We are primarily student-run and host many different types of events throughout the academic year.
When it comes to practicing our faith, we are in charge of setting up and participating in mass roles at Westminster college. We also hold weekly rosary prayer sessions before our weekly business meetings. We often take trips to our local Adoration Chapel to partake in the service off-campus as well. We often like to discuss bible topics throughout our meetings and have fun playing games together. We are strong in service as well-- annually hosting events to raise money for the Make-A-Wish organization as well as hosting local food drives/fundraisers for local food pantries and those in need. For information about other events we host on campus, please reach out to the current president of the group and check us out on Instagram @wc_newman_club
For information about mass please check the "Mass Times" section of this page
If you're interested in learning more: you can contact the current president of the club (contact information can be found here: https://www.westminster.edu/campus/spiritual-life/fellowship.cfm) or the college chaplain Rev Jim Mohr (email listed on page) who could also get you in contact with the current priest assigned to the college.
We're so excited that you have an interest in our group and please reach out so we can answer any questions you may have!
