Each year, thousands of Catholic high school seniors leave home without a plan to stay connected to the Church. Studies show that nearly 80% of young Catholics stop practicing their faith by the time they turn 23. Without connection to a local parish, campus ministry, or chaplain, even the most faith-filled teens can quickly drift away from the Church. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Through partnerships with parishes, Catholic schools, dioceses, and campus ministries, we match high school graduates with campus ministers, military chaplains, or Catholic leaders before they arrive at their next destination.

Is this donation tax deductible?
Yes. Newman Connection (DBA Newman Ministry, EIN: 80-0739832) is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We’ll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
Will my alma mater and/or local campus ministry receive this donation?
Not directly. Newman Connection is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing user-free programs and services to campus ministries across the country. We are endorsed by over 100 Catholic bishops throughout the country and have provided impact services to over 600,000 students. To give directly to a specific campus ministry, please visit their website.
Is my donation secure?
Yes. Newman Connection’s online portal is a safe and secure way to process gifts. We do not physically store credit card or checking account information, and we do not share it.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes, we’ll send a receipt to the email address you provide when donating. The receipt will include your donation details, such as the date, amount, and any beneficiary information.
How is my personal data handled?
